We're looking for AI visionaries.
As an AI Systems Engineer you will push your limits and redefine your career by immersing you in the toughest challenges. You will be working on the bleeding edge of AI for large-scale precision patient care.
Jobs
Passionate team members wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Intense learning curve. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition await those who return.
AI Systems Engineer
We’re looking for extraordinary AI Systems Engineers.
We’re looking for an AI engineer who lives at the intersection of backend systems and AI orchestration, someone who can design and implement sophisticated multi-agent pipelines using frameworks like LangGraph, n8n, and the OpenAI Agent SDK. You’ll help architect the next generation of our intelligent backend where retrieval-augmented generation, tool-using agents, and real-time WebSocket pipelines all come together to power our AI products.
What You’ll Do
You will work with our Products and Leadership Teams at the forefront of AI and healthcare to design next-generation experiences for patients by building autonomous AI agents that reason, plan, and call tools via LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, or custom logic.
Design RAG pipelines (ingestion → embedding → retrieval → synthesis) optimized for multi-modal knowledge bases.
Integrate agents with backend APIs, databases, and workflows (FastAPI, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).
Create event-driven and streaming architectures using WebSockets and queues for real-time AI responses.
Develop observability and cost tracking systems for long-running or multi-step agent processes.
Collaborate with product and research teams to rapidly experiment with new AI capabilities.
Requirements:
Experience with Python and async backend frameworks (FastAPI, asyncio, etc.).
Strong familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI Agent SDK, or similar orchestration tools.
Experience with retrieval systems, vector databases, or LLM context management.
Comfort working with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge).
Strong grounding in software design, system reliability, and testing for AI-driven systems.
A Few Example Projects:
Personal care for cancer patients.
Jails and prisons predicting suicide, violence, addiction, and recidivism.
Identifying PTSD and TBI in front line combat troops.
Homeless organizations identifying people who can be helped off the street.
Neurologists creating a neurological exam.
Discovering end points for clinical trials
Oncologists predicting drug timing for cancer patients.
Predicting treatment responses for psychiatry patients.
Many, many more.
