Behavioral AI Data Science Internship
This internship is for those looking to work at the bleeding edge of AI and healthcare with hands-on experience and ownership.
This AI internship will push your limits and transform your career by working on the toughest problems in healthcare with our top-tier scientific team. You’ll be at the cutting edge of behavioral AI research, contributing to projects that span all of healthcare; neurology, oncology, psychiatry, neonatology, infectious disease, as well as working products in legal tech, jails and prisons, and homelessness. You’ll work directly with our founders and scientific leaders, gaining hands-on experience and ownership of real features, products, or lines of business.
You will have to have (1) a maniacal desire to make an impact, (2) exceptional technical skills, and (3) be a relentless doer.
For those who excel it may be possible that you may be an author on a high impact paper in an entirely new field of science.
What You’ll Do
Your work will be matched with your capabilities and skills but are likely to include: data engineering, database management, validation, integration and reporting as well as LLM integrations and architectures, and advanced AI models that drive projects forward. Additionally you’ll be tasked with making discoveries and producing figures and results that support research, grants, papers, and working models.
You will be working remotely on your own time and in your own time zone.

Neonatology researchers building an assessment for premature babies.
Jails and prisons predicting suicide, violence, addiction, and recidivism.
Identifying PTSD and TBI in front line combat troops.
Homeless organizations identifying people who can be helped off the street.
Neurologists creating a neurological exam.
Discovering end points for clinical trials
Oncologists predicting drug timing for cancer patients.
Predicting treatment responses for psychiatry patients.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for smart, motivated people who are early in their career but who want to lead this new field. We look for smart motivated interns and then match them with projects that fit their skills and expertise. We have a tough screening process and we accept less than .3% of applicants. You’ll need:
A Bachelor/Masters/PhD in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Biostatistics, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience, preferably with biopharmaceutical or clinical research.
Expertise in SQL, MySQL, Python, R, and familiarity with AWS or Azure.
This is not for anyone who is simply looking for a job or to pad their resume.
